“Old” though it may be, a mention in the New York Times is still the world’s gold standard for media attention. So, our antennae were tingling when this piece coming in Sunday’s New York Times Magazine (about my wife’s favorite recent author, by the way) showed up touting James’ latest book (get it here!) showed up in our inboxes.  Alison Bechdel: By the Book Which comics do you read regularly? “I love diary comics. My mainstay is James Kochalka’s “American Elf.” Gabrielle Bell’s “Lucky” is also a great autobiographical series. I adore the comic strip “Rhymes With Orange,” but I don’t see it regularly because it’s not in my daily paper. I’ve given up on the comics in my daily paper.” -Fred

Which comics do you read regularly?
